Located in the Santos Basin, the pre-salt holds the most productive wells off the coast of Brazil, with production predicted to be 1 million barrels per day by mid-2016. However, reaching these rich reserves is not an easy task, situated as they are beneath a layer of salt approximately 2000m thick, itself in 2000-3000m of the Atlantic Ocean.
Working for OneSubsea Brazil, QAWT supplied a range of flowbends and goosenecks for their Horizontal Subsea Tree System (HD) and MUX Trees. By setting up bespoke jigs in dedicated manufacturing cells we were able to manage this turnkey project from material sourcing through to delivery.
