QA Weld Tech engineers can work with clients’ engineers during the design stage, advising on material choice and fabrication methods whilst delivering real value engineering. Material traceability is maintained throughout the production process, ensuring that 3.1 and 3.2 certification is maintained from the mill / stockist to the end client. Our in-house metallurgy department can advise on material selection and its suitability for purpose.

Valuable experience gained over the last 40 years working with Carbon Steels, Stainless, Duplex and High Performance Alloys has provided a wealth of data in documented Welding Procedure Qualification records that enables us to predict how they will react during the welding and heat treatment processes.

All materials delivered into our Goods Inwards facility are quarantined until release by our metallurgist who will review material certification and Positive Material Identification reports before approving them for use in production.
